Nine pieces that will capsule and cover for at least the next two weeks, then rinse, add a necklace, change shoes and repeat.

If you are unfamiliar, a capsule wardrobe is a collection of a few essential classic items that you LOVE to wear, that can be mixed and matched. With two exceptions all of these pieces are not maternity clothes, but they will all get you through a pregnancy with ease. And you can keep repeating this capsule even after the baby is born. Will you bring in a few more pieces? No doubt. But these could take you the whole way, and here's how:

Piece # 1

Jackie Dress

The Jackie Dress-  We love this two-piece staple of versatility. The dress is buttery soft modal and double layered to provide a smooth look. It can be paired with your favorite jackets or cardigans. The outer layer is loose in the body, but fitted in the sleeve for a very flattering figure either tied with the slip or over your favorite pair of leggings and jeans!

Style Tip: For the outer layer, push up the sleeves slightly. Wear on or off the shoulder.  Bra straps show?  Don't worry. Although we do suggest a black bra.

Bonus Points for easy nursing access.

Day 1-the Jackie Top, untied, with leggings and booties (see below for our top leggings pick)

Day 2- pair the slip dress with a denim jacket and boots

Day 3-as pictured above left, heels or boots and go.

Piece # 2

Laguna Lace

The Laguna Dress- The lace overlay on this dress is perfect for holiday parties, date night or a baby shower. Pair with a sparkly statement necklace and amazing (and by amazing, we mean comfortable) heels and you are done. We love the higher neckline that makes it appropriate for work parties with the peekaboo lace, that makes it sexy enough for date night.

Day 4/ Night 4- Grab your denim jacket and luggage or other not-black boots for daytime. Take off the jacket, tights, and boots, swap out for heels and off you go for the evening.

Piece # 3

The Drape Tunic-  We can’t pick favorites, but if we could it might be this top. This effortlessly chic top is flattering at any stage of pregnancy, or any stage of life, really. This top pairs perfectly with jeans or leggings. It’s perfect for day to evening.

Style Tip: Don’t always pull it all the way down around your hips and do push the sleeves up slightly by your elbows.

Day 5 -Throw this on over the slip dress from the Jackie above for a top and skirt silhouette. Boots?  Yes.  Heels?  Sure.  Flats ?  Yep.  Those too.

Day 6 -Wear it long over leggings.

Day 7 - Scrunch it up over jeans.

Piece # 4

cinched top

The Original Cinched Top-  This is definitely a fitted top, and you may think it won’t grow with you, but it will! It's reversible front to back for scoop or boat neck. With their signature double layer-superior coverage, even white is not too sheer. This top is the perfect shell under any jacket or sweater. It is not uncommon for people to come back after buying this in one color, to grab it in several others.  Wear it daily?  Yes, you will.

Day 8- The cinched top with denim jacket and leggings.  Pick your boot or bootie.

Piece # 5

cashmere ruana

The Cashmere Ruana Poncho- Cashmere is always a "yes" in our book, but cashmere you can wear four different ways? Now that is something to get excited about! Wear it as a cute high-low over a dress, asymmetrical over your favorite tee and some jeans, throw the seam up front and go for a classic v-neck look, or hang out with it as a chic scarf!

The best nursing poncho?  Um. Yes.

Day 9 - Ruana Poncho over Cinched Top and leggings and knee boots.

Day 10 - Ruana Poncho over Jackie Slip Dress-heels for elegant, black knee boots for more less dressed.  Add a long necklace if you're feelin' it.

Day 11- Ruana over Cinched Top and Jeans

Don't forget the best basics that you will wear...a lot :)

Piece # 6

The Supplex Leggings- Hands down the BEST legging for every stage of pregnancy and after. They are thick enough to wear as pants, comfy enough to wear all day, quality that will last for years,  not maternity clothes, but our best selling leggings.

Piece # 7

Emma Jeans- These are the perfect staple pair of denim. The indigo wash can be paired with everything. The waistband on these jeans is appropriate for every phase from “oh my pants are getting a little tight,” to after delivery on the road back down, and everywhere in between.

And, if you don't have a denim jacket now is the time to get one, and get a good one, because once you have it, you will wear it forever.  Seriously.  We're not kidding about that.

Optional: Piece # 8

paige denim jacket.

The Vivienne- What we are totally obsessed with, besides the inside pockets, about this denim jacket by Paige is that it is SO perfect with bump-it hits at the natural waistline and is oh so flattering and perfect.   It will be worn over everything you own.

Day 12 -Jackie Top-knotted over jeans.

Day 13 -Cinched Top and two ruana's-one as a poncho, one as a scarf (yes, it works, yes it is warm and cozy and looks great!) over jeans.

Optional Piece # 9 just adds to the perfection and ease

The Wren Jumpsuit-Even if you don’t normally consider yourself a ‘jumpsuit person’ we are hard pressed to find people who don’t want to normalize wearing something as comfy as PJs all day long. This jumpsuit is made of butter and magic and goes from day to night. It’s a favorite travel outfit and can transition easily to evening with the right necklace and shoes.

Style Tip: Pull up the legs slightly, so the ankle bands are mid-calf. Pair with your favorite necklaces and jackets.

Bonus Points: Not pictured here, but it comes with a cami piece which gives a little more coverage for the girls and can be lifted up for easy, discreet nursing.

Day 14 - Lean back, relax, throw on the Wren Jumpsuit and just accept the compliments.  So on trend, so cute, and so insanely comfortable.  Short booties for daytime, heels, and bling for a night out.

Don't worry; you got this mama.
